The concept of gastronomy, wine and music,
combined in a unique artistic and aesthetic experience is a first of its kind in Switzerland.
Lake Geneva was also a refuge and home for Tchaikovsky, Strauss, Stravinsky and many other musical giants.
The first Chardonne Culinary Concerts, "The Serenade of Seasons", in September 2020, allowed you to travel, despite the current crises and closures, with taste and music, and what better than the Four Seasons of Vivaldi and Piazzolla to transport you to Venice and Buenos Aires.
The 2nd edition, in June 2021, entitled, "The Poetry of Spring," presented the soprano and star of the Vienna State Opera, Teodora Gheorghiu, in Richard Strauss' Four Last Songs, Aaron Copland's Apallachian Spring, Johann Strauss II's Wine, Women and Song, and Debussy's Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, with the Geneva International Orchestra.
The next Concerts Culinaires de Chardonne is Una Féria de Flamenco on October 15, 2022, with special guest artist José Maria Gallardo del Rey.
At the Grande Salle de Chardonne, guests will again enjoy a dégustation of Chardonne wines offered by the Municipality,
and hors d’oeuvres especially prepared by Mathieu Bruno of the Restaurant "Là Haut."
To complete the experience,
Chef Mathieu Bruno invites only 40 guests to "Là Haut"
for an intimate and exclusive gastronomic 5 course dinner.
